I like your riser system on the left, but the rack on the right isn’t doing any good. I have expand-a-shelf risers that I got at Container Store. All my spices line up neatly in alphabetical order, which makes finding the cumin that much faster.
Actually, the one on the right is also a riser–you just can’t see it from this angle. I need a taller and deeper shelf, or maybe a short two-level lazy susan. Or something.
At least your spices are nicely labeled and not a hodge podge of different brands plus handwritten labels and mystery spices!
I really like Penzeys Spices–there are a few outliers in that mix, but at this point nearly everything is from one source. I find that having the same labels makes it look less discordant, even when jumbled.
