These aren’t things I hate. I just don’t see what the big damn deal is.
- Pro sports
- Dr. Who
- Kate Winslet’s acting
- Neon clothing and accessories
- Jackass and Tosh.0 and shadenfreude directed toward strangers (actually, I do kind of hate these)
- Keira Knightley
- Boyfriend jeans
- Gerard Butler
- Indoor skydiving
- Skydiving
I agree with everything on this list. But Neon! How could you!????
What can I say?
Schadenfreude, sadly, I understand. Everybody is self-conscious . . . pointing out other weaknesses is just what bullies do on the playground. I hate it, a lot . . . but I understand why others do it (though I wish there was some way of protesting more than just watching another channel)
I love Doctor Who — it’s fun “turn my brain off but I still have to think” programming.
Elmo totally rocks a purple tutu.
He does make that tutu work, doesn’t he?
I understand wanting to see someone get a comeuppance when they’ve wronged you. I can think of some right now. But people I don’t even know? Why do I want to see them get hurt in some fashion?
I like boyfriend jeans but I don’t get why the majority of them come with holes purposely put in. I mean, do the designers think I’m only going to borrow the holy ones?
They look better on you than on me. But I don’t get holes in jeans, either–I never have. That could go on the list.
