So I’ve decided to make some freezer meals for after the baby is born. At the moment I’m planning to make beef stew, spaghetti sauce, and split pea soup for dinners, and I’ll probably make a few loaves of pumpkin bread or something similar for breakfasts.
Any other suggestions? Please feel free to share.
Oh, and I do own a slow-cooker.
Smart, smart, smart! My mom stocked my freezer with casseroles before Kendra was born. I was ever so grateful for several months afterward. Anything that you can throw into the oven and then just saute some veggies on the side would be brilliant. Chicken Parm, maybe? Or King Ranch Chicken? (Although, you may need to limit garlic and onions for baby’s sake if you’re nursing.) Even just having pre-cooked hamburgers or meatballs in the freezer helps.
