For the past couple of weeks, Baguette’s teacher has had us send in things that begin with a particular letter. This week, it’s L. So we assembled some items and helped her identify them, and then dropped them off.

I wish we lived closer- I could lend you the CD. If you like the band Cake and/or the song Mahna Mahna, the CD is worth owning, though….
Oh, I’ve seen Ernie and Bert sing that one, but I hadn’t seen the BNL version–I love them! I’ll have to look for that CD. We need to mix up our music at this point anyhow.
As a grade 4 teacher I can say with certainty I would have given Baguette an A for effort!
Unfortunately, she only knew a couple of them in class. We may have to pick fewer items and go over them some more this week. And I say that as someone who thinks preschool homework is ridiculous, but vocabulary-building is not.
Oh how I love classic Sesame Street! Sigh. It’s just not quite what it used to be. Although every once in awhile I still hear that awesome song where they count to 12- so catchy. 🙂
